We all like to indulge in workplace luncheons to celebrate birthdays, holidays, and team accomplishments. But a recent study suggests that you might want to think twice about your food choices. Among American workers, researchers found that workplace foods can contribute to unhealthy eating.
On average, the study found that workers consume over 1,000 calories per week from work, with most of those “empty” calories coming from food that was provided at no cost.
