Keeping It Cool During An Active Summer
Summer months mean heat and humidity in Florida, but it is still important to meet your physical activity needs and this can be done in a fun, enjoyable, way. Here are some ideas for getting in the recommended 30 minutes of moderate activity five days a week.

• Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours or after swimming. | |
• Wear light colors. | |
• Hats and sunglasses protect the head and eyes. | |
• Hydrate! Drink plenty of water, even if you don’t feel thirsty. | |
• Avoid outdoor activities during the hottest time of day (between 1-4 p.m.) |
